Privacy policy

Who we are

This policy covers the website life-astro.com (“Life Astro Chart”, “we”). For any privacy question, email service@life-astro.com.

Information you enter in the calculator

The birth date, optional name and tarot cards you enter are processed only by code running in your own browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party, and we do not store them. When you close or reload the page, they are gone.

If you download a report as JSON, HTML or PDF, the file is created on your device and stays under your control.

The optional AI deep dive

The results page can copy a prompt containing your calculated chart to your clipboard. If you paste it into an AI service such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, you share it with that service yourself, under that service’s own privacy policy. We never send your data to any AI service.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before advertising cookies are used for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read, in aggregate. Analytics never receives the birth date, name or cards you enter into the calculator.

Hosting and security

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, and it may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell people and bots apart.

Cookies used on this site

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, personalised advertising cookies are used only with your consent. Delivering and securing the site, and answering the emails you send us, are based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website and in replying to you.

International transfers

Google and Cloudflare may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. They do so under their own data protection commitments, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep data

We keep the emails you send us only for as long as we need them to answer and follow up, and then delete them. Retention of advertising and security data is governed by Google’s and Cloudflare’s own policies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you and to object to its use. Because we do not store calculator data, the only personal information we may hold is the content of emails you send us. Email us to exercise your rights. For advertising cookies, use the Google controls above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
